Panna National Park est situé dans la chaîne de Vindhyan et se répand sur Panna et Chhatarpur districts dans la partie nord de l'État du Madhya Pradesh en Inde.
Un des aspects écologiques les plus significatifs de la réserve de tigres est que le district Panna rend plus au nord de la limite de la distribution naturelle du teck et les limites orientales de forêts mixtes teck-kardhai.
La rivière Ken, qui traverse la réserve du sud au nord, est la maison pour crocodile à long museau (de gavial) et Marsh Crocodile (maggar) et autre faune aquatique. Il est l'un des seize rivières pérennes de M.P. et est vraiment la ligne de vie de la Réserve. Il offre l'un des paysages les plus spectaculaires alors qu'il serpente sur environ 55 km. à travers la réserve.
