Situé dans la partie nord du Madhya Pradesh, la ville de Khajuraho a été reconnu comme un site du patrimoine mondial par l'UNESCO. La ville est célèbre pour ses temples impériaux. Les temples ont été construits par les souverains de la dynastie Chandela entre 10e et 11e siècle. La construction du temple a juste pris environ 100 ans pour terminer.
