À partir de laquelle une vue spectaculaire sur le lac, la ville et l'Himalaya Annapurna peut être vue. Sarangkot, une colline du côté sud du lac, offre un panorama exquis de l'aube sur les vallées verdoyantes encadrées par les Annapurnas enneigés. La rivière Seti Gandaki a créé des gorges spectaculaires dans et autour de la ville. À certains endroits, il ne fait que quelques mètres de large et est tellement en dessous qu’il n’est ni visible ni audible du haut.
